Phone/Zoom Meeting
Call with client to understand their needs and what they require us to do, talk about pricing and packages if aplicable.
Get Started
Follow up email is sent summarizing phone discussion and attached required documents to get started:
- New client information page to be filled out.
- Authorizations on all business accounts required.
- If they have payroll need ROE & WSIB authorizations.
Obtain Access
Once authorized on CRA add all due dates to calenders (corp year end, HST, Source deductions, Paydays, Financials etc.)
- Obtain access to accounting file (QBO invite as accountant, or backup of current setup)
- If client doesn't have a file discuss with client what program would best suit them?
Full Review
Review bookkeeping file to make sure it is complete to where the client believes it was left off, inform the client of any discrepencies
- Check for reconciliations
- Review AP & AP
- Review income statement and balance sheet
- Review General ledger
- All documents get entered into various datatbases like Sage, CCH iFirm, Access, New client folders and eDocuments and Mailing lists.
